Things to Do in Lassen Volcanic National Park

Lassen is a very special place to many around the world. No, I do not exaggerate when I say that. My family have visited the area since we arrived in Redding, back in 2012. It is an absolutely beautiful, serene, calm, wonderful place to explore and just be in the moment. While hiking up to the peak of Mt Lassen at 10,457 ft, may not be foremost on your mind, or maybe it is, there are plenty of other easier hikes that you can take the family, from littles to teens, and enjoy the fresh air.
